Calon Segur 2014

The 2014 Calon Ségur has a fresh and vibrant nose, a bit backward and broody, but there is concentration here, just tightly coiled at the moment. There are touches of iodine and sea spray present. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe tannins, quite dense and fleshy, but there is enormous weight and backbone on the back end that I think will see this mature in style.
